Ride across Canada 3 - Montreal to Perce
Day 53: Montreal to Trois-Rivières
It was raining when I left Montreal, and I am expecting heavy rain for the next few days. But I was excited to explore the beauty of this part of Canada, as I have heard a lot of great things from other travellers.
it's a fantastic message!
Everything changed to French from here on.
Another fantastic signboard.
Typical morning: Breakfast, hot black coffee, Mark Knopfler, and the view…
The heavy hitters.
Free accommodation at Trois-Rivières.
Day 54: Trois-Rivières to Quebec City
Such a great idea... Really helpful!
The height of freedom
According to the map, I decided to take a bike route as soon as I entered the city. This route led to my host's place, but it wasn’t a good idea. I ended up struggling a lot because of a large staircase. It was really hard for me to push the bike up the steps.
Marie and her family hosted me for two nights, and I explored Quebec City again, this time by bicycle…
Day 55: Explore Quebec City
Poutine – A Quebec Classic
Day 56: Quebec City to Cap-Saint-Ignace
Following my host's suggestion, I took the bike route along the river, and the views were amazing. I spent so much time at each stop that I didn’t cover much distance.
It started raining, getting windy and cold, so I decided to find a camping spot for the day.
I found a beautiful camping spot, but it was closed because it’s the off season.
